Buddhism is a religion based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha. Religion was born in what is now equivalent to northern India between the fifth and third centuries BC It then spread in East Asia and mixed with different cultures and traditions. Today there are three main approaches in Buddhism, with large and small differences between them. These are: Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana. With a religion that is less active in our oblong country, we serve in all cases on the facts of what is so huge in Asia!

01)  Three of the tallest statues we have here on earth represents the Buddha.

02)  Buddhism is said that the largest in Asia , and beyond Asia’s borders, there are only a total of about 7 million Buddhists.

03) Thanboddhay Pagoda (see picture below) in Burma has a total of  582 357 Buddha statues!


04) Unlike most religions, Buddhism has no single central text or book in order to comply with the traditions and lifestyle.
